John Nix was born and raised in Texas. At
the age of 15 he entered a private leadership
school in Michigan, and became a supervisor
in the school’s building trades division.
In 1999, at the age of 20, John became a licensed
and bonded General Contractor in the State
of Michigan. John spent several years in humanitarian
aid work in the USA and around the world.
In 2001, he led a group of young men trained
in construction throughout the United States
ministering to widows and families in need.
John married Stori Hadden in 2005, and Stori
currently works as the Office Administrator
for Nix Construction, Inc. John is a graduate
of the Leadership Tyler Class 22 (2009), and
is currently serving on the Leadership Tyler
Board of Directors. John is also serving on
the City of Tyler Zoning Board of Adjustments
and Appeals.

2004.
